Once serving purpose in a distillery to mature whiskey or vineyard to age red wine, this vintage oak barrel has found new life as a beautiful coffee table. The self hinging tabletop reveals abundant storage space and visual evidence of the barrel’s previous contents, whiskey or red wine, still remain.Handcrafted from reclaimed whiskey or red wine barrel staves with original barrel hoops. Traditionally jointed tabletop and base are pine.
Hand sanded to remove rough edges, rub stained for rustic elegance and polyurethane-sealed for protective finish.
